Homemade FUZZ HEADS

Here I used Woodland Scenic’s
Wild Honey Static Grass

Here is Detail Masters Black Flocking
Here’s what I do
Put the Flocking in some kind of small squeeze bottle
Wrap some kind of magnetic strip around the neck of the bottle
(You can buy a strip with one side sticky or use a magnetic business card)
Paint the “Hair” with Elmer’s White Glue
Hold the head over a large box lid or wax paper so you can recover the excess Flocking
Squirt the Flocking onto the head until thoroughly covered
Let dry overnight (or a couple of hours)
Go back and do additional features like mustache and eyebrows
You can pretty much do this with anything you want to look like felt or hair

Bottle with Magnetic Strip and 3 FUZZ HEADS
The Flocking
Detail Master (available at local hobby shops or on-line) comes in a variety of
Colors. I’ve got Black, Brown and Dark Tan.
It is used for model cars and detailing the seats. It’s a fine fiber
And shooting it through the bottle creates a static charge
Which makes the hair stand up.
The Woodland Scenic’s static flocking should be available from most hobby stores.
It’s a little longer than the Detail Master flocking.

Flocking
I don’t take credit for this. I just put up some pictures for others to benefit.
You can purchase ready made FUZZ HEADS from several sources (like I did)
or
Now you can make your own!
Enjoy!
